The above image is from a recent blog post I read at WaitButWhy.com, and while it looks busy, there is a lot of valuable information contained in that one image. The original blog post titled "The Cook and the Chef: Musk's Secret Sauce" is an awesome piece written by Tim Urban, and I highly recommend everyone check it out. The post starts out looking at Elon Musk and going into a couple objectives about the man. The first objective was to try and understand why Musk is doing the things he does, and the second was to try and understand why Musk is able to do what he's doing. For those few who may not know who Elon Musk is, Elon is the founder and CEO for both Tesla Motors and SpaceX, and a major contrubuter to a company called Solar City. Elon Musk was also the inspiration for the Tony Stark character in the recent Marvel Ironman movies.
The post goes on to talk about Elon Musk and all the other great visionaries and innovators that have created incredible advances in our world. All of these larger than life individuals seem to have some superhuman powers that the rest of us don't. The author then suggest that maybe all of these incredible innovators just have a better way of approaching life and achieving their dreams and goals than the rest of us. If that is indeed true, then that gives enormous hope for all of us. I personally believe that each and everyone of us is very special, so this post by Tim Urban really resonated with me.
The post then goes on to talk about this "secret sauce" that Musk and other great individuals possess that make them appear bigger than life. Throughout the post, the author does an excellent job of laying out Musk's secret for success, and explains how each of us could do the same. I could go on and on about this post, but I think it's best if you check it out for yourselves. Another great thing about this post is how well it correlates with what we are trying to achieve at MakerCreations. In essense, to truly create something exceptional and life changing for everyone, a new set of guiding principles have to be developed and expanded upon. With that said, I highly recommend everyone check out the post "The Cook and the Chef: Musk's Secret Sauce"
